Bio of Senior Pastor Phillip Davis

An anointed preacher, teacher and shepherd, Pastor Phillip Davis serves as the Senior Pastor of the Greater Shiloh Church in Easton, Pennsylvania. 

Pastor Phillip Davis accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at the age of 15 and in 1991, at the age of 26, responded to the call to preach the gospel.  In January of 1998, Pastor Davis was ordained as Youth Pastor and hired full time to the ministry of Shiloh Baptist Church.  This added further responsibilities of overseeing the Judah Worship team, the Multi-Media ministry, the Christian Education Department, and coordinating the weekly television broadcast.  In 2004 he was promoted to assistant Pastor to serve his father and support his father.   

On June 12, 2005, Pastor Phillip Davis was installed as the Senior Pastor over the 1500 members of the Greater Shiloh Church of Easton, Pennsylvania.  Under Pastor Phillip’s leadership, the Greater Shiloh Church has experienced tremendous growth in the membership, with many of its members traveling throughout the tri-state region of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. 

Thus far in his tenure as Senior Pastor, he continues to provide vision and effectual leadership to the Greater Shiloh Church and to the local community.  Greater Shiloh Church has over 40 ministries devoted to distributing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.  In September of 2009, the Greater Shiloh – North Campus was launched to provide ministry to those in the Pocono region.  He has expanded the weekly broadcast on Channel 69 to reach over one million homes in PA and New Jersey.  He also instituted the Minority Community Forum. In partnership with the city of Easton and the Easton Police Department, the church created and runs the Christian Intramural Basketball League (CIBL), a coed summer basketball league for the youth of the community.  Most recently, a partnership was created with Northampton County to build the Nehemiah House, a transitional home for men that are struggling with addiction. 

 Pastor Davis received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Counseling from Christian Bible College and Seminary, he is a graduate of the Morris Cerullo School of Evangelism and also a graduate of Penn State’s High Performance School of Management.  Pastor Davis is a life-long learner and is currently pursuing an additional degree in Organizational Leadership. 

Pastor Davis is a devoted husband and father.  He and Lady Kristina have been married for more than 18 years and have one daughter Rachael.   As a father, husband, and man of God, Pastor Phillip embodies the model of a Christ-centered family, who witnesses to others by his demonstration of love.  Through the loving example set by Pastor Davis and his family, families are being rebuilt and youth are beginning to rise up!  To God be the Glory!

He has an intense love and excitement for the Lord.  His anointed preaching ignites the atmosphere with enthusiasm and his transparency challenges the believer to produce life-changing results. He is committed to declaring God’s Word to all, and developing men and women to disciple the world by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. 

The future looks bright as the Lord continues to use Pastor Phillip Davis, a visionary and leader to guide the Greater Shiloh Church congregation from one degree of grace to another.
