COMMUNITY SHOWERS

Greater Shiloh Church launched a mobile shower program designed to address the needs of the region’s homeless and transient population.

Made possible with $30,000 from Northampton County and $12,000 raised by the congregation, the mobile showers are set up at 508 W. Canal St., Easton, an area easily reachable by the target population.

The goal is to provide a sanitary and respectful environment where people experiencing homelessness and transiency can access necessary hygiene services. We believe that providing shower facilities can help these individuals regain a sense of dignity, self-esteem, and optimism for a better tomorrow.
